Hours: Monday - Friday, (08:00 - 16:30)

Join our team as a Quality Engineer

This is a hands-on quality role focused on internal production quality, ensuring that what we produce is right the first time and fully compliant with aerospace standards and customer specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with design, production, and engineering teams to maintain and continuously improve internal quality performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, standards, and customer specifications.
  • Ensure all requirements are correctly translated into manufacturing and inspection processes.
  • Liaise with design teams to clarify technical or quality-related queries.
  • Partner with production and engineering teams to ensure product quality at every stage.
  • Monitor and assess production processes to ensure capability and compliance with tolerances.
  • Utilise Statistical Process Control (SPC) to track trends, identify drift, and drive improvements.
  • Promote and support a "right first time" culture across operations.
  • Ensure all work aligns with aerospace regulations and internal quality management systems.
  • Contribute to both parts and process-level quality assurance initiatives.
Skills required
  • Experience in a quality engineering role within the aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of AS9100, regulatory compliance, and quality control practices.
  • Familiarity with SPC, root cause analysis tools (e.g. 5 Whys, 8D), and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work across disciplines.
  • Passion for precision, quality, and driving operational excellence.
