A global high-technology company in Wales is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure supplier compliance and manage quality standards within programs. The ideal candidate will hold an HNC/HND in Engineering and have experience in quality inspection, particularly in the aerospace sector. Responsibilities include acting as a quality interface with customers, developing product standards, and supporting operational throughput. This role requires knowledge of QA tools and risk management practices.
The purpose of this role is to assess and assure the supplier and the quality of products and services they provide are compliant with contractual requirements, support the rollout of new programmes, develop and implement product standards for use between internal quality and external supply chain, and guarantee the compliance of products and services delivered to customers by implementing customer and Safran requirements within the program. The post holder will act as a quality interface and represent the Quality department by building and maintaining relationships of trust with customers, listening to customers' concerns about quality, translating them into requirements, negotiating, and implementing them operationally within the program.
