Quality Controller

We are recruiting for Quality Control roles in the Chartham, Canterbury area. Please note: Due to the limited public transport options to the client's location, own transport is essential for this role. While the site can be reached via train to Canterbury and a bus to Chartham followed by a 20‑minute walk, this is not practical for daily commuting.

As a Quality Controller you will need to have:

• Good communication skills
• A good level of English (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A proactive, flexible, and team‑oriented attitude
• (Desirable) Previous experience working within a similar role in the fruit or food industry

Details:

• Salary: Based on experience from £13.45 - £15.27 per hour
• Working Hours: shifts start at either 6:30 am or 7:00 am and are 12 hours long. Full‑time
• Location: Nickle Farm, Chartham, Canterbury, Kent. CT4 7PG
• Duration: Ongoing

Role of a Quality Controller:

• Carry out quality control checks on incoming raw materials, products in production, and finished goods
• Ensure that all fruit and products meet customer specifications, legal requirements, and food safety standards
• Accurately complete all quality documentation and report any non‑conformances or quality trends to the QC Manager
• Support production teams by monitoring packing standards, labelling accuracy, and product presentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety and hygiene procedures
