Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to ensure high-quality standards in production. You will analyze trends in product inspections, control statistical aspects of Goods Inspection, and develop training programs to improve quality. The ideal candidate has proven experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and knowledge of ISO13485 and FDA requirements. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a quality control role in a regulated production/manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO13485 and FDA Quality System requirements.
  • Understanding of statistical sampling techniques.
  • Experience automating inspection practices is preferable.

Position: Quality Control Manager

Location: Gloucester

Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

Our client, a globally recognised manufacturing business based in Gloucester are on the hunt for a Quality Control Manager. The business are going through some great transitions of investment and new project and this person will be right in the centre of excelling these forward!

Role and Responsibilities

In this role you will play a key part in the Quality and Operations team ensuring that the products meet the highest standards necessary. Furthermore, you will be analysing the trends and characteristics of product inspection to see what improvements can be made and how to implement them. Other responsibilities include:

  • Statistical control of Goods Inspection
  • Deliver customer satisfaction in a cost effective matter
  • Help improve efficiency and effectiveness of production
  • Participate in the development of quality training and raise ideas on how to improve
Experience or Qualifications

Proven experience in a quality control role in a regulated production/manufacturing environment

Knowledge of ISO13485 and FDA Quality System requirements

Understanding of statistical sampling techniques and requirements

Experience of automating inspection practices preferable

Candidates who currently are a Quality Control Manager, Quality Manager, Quality Compliance Manager, Quality Systems Manager or Head of Quality.
