Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager

Lincolnshire | Full-time or 4-day week option | £50,000–£52,500 FTE + benefits

Are you a quality and compliance leader? Are you looking for a hands-on leadership role where you can shape and elevate quality standards across a manufacturing site?

We’re hiring a Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager to take ownership of site-wide quality, compliance, and feed safety within a well-established manufacturer. You'll lead the quality function, overseeing a capable team and maintaining site-wide compliance with customer standards and regulatory schemes such as BRC, UFAS, FEMAS or GMP+.

The business is supportive of flexible working and open to compressed hours or part-time (32–39 hours over 4 days), with an ideal start in early October to allow a smooth transition with the retiring incumbent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all quality and compliance activity across the site
  • Ensure site compliance with feed safety legislation and customer standards
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Own and manage HACCP and internal audit programs
  • Deputise for the Head of Technical during audits or inspections
  • Lead customer complaint investigations and drive non-conformance resolution
  • Develop and mentor a small quality and hygiene team

About You:

  • 5+ years in a senior quality role in food.
  • Knowledge of safety legislation and schemes.
  • Confident managing audits, HACCP, and QMS
  • Strong people skills with proven team leadership experience
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
  • Able to work on-site
