Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Technical & Compliance Manager for a prominent manufacturing business in Scunthorpe. The role involves ensuring quality and compliance standards are met, managing quality systems, and supporting new product development. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of BRC, ISO, and manufacturing regulations, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This position offers a salary of £37,000 - £40,000 and Monday to Friday working hours from 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a technical, quality, or compliance role within manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting NPD projects, audits, and supplier approvals.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for audits and site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage Quality Management Systems to ensure product safety and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through alternative materials, packaging, or process improvements.
  • Conduct internal audits and prepare for external customer and certification audits.

Skills

Strong understanding of BRC, ISO, and consumer goods regulatory standards
Ability to interpret laboratory test results and technical data
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
