Overview

Rising Talent Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our client's manufacturing team based in the Scottish Borders. This full-time, permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and safety across production processes. As part of the Quality Department, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing products, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory standards, and supporting root cause analysis for quality issues. Your role will involve conducting environmental testing, calibrating instruments, and assisting in investigations of customer claims, all while fostering a safety-first environment in the workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test products to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Support root cause analysis for quality issues.
  • Conduct environmental testing and calibrate instruments as required.
  • Assist in investigations of customer claims.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in quality control, assurance, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • A scientific, technical, or engineering qualification is preferred.
  • Qualification in 6 Sigma Green Belt or above and ISO auditing experience is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong skills in testing, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Proactive, independent, and able to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to adhere to health, safety, and hygiene procedures consistently.
