A values-led care group in Devon is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to support residential and dementia homes. This hands-on role focuses on embedding quality systems, auditing compliance processes, and supporting care managers with CQC readiness. Ideal candidates have a strong elderly care background, experience as a Registered Manager or similar, and confidence in training others. The position offers flexibility, a salary dependent on experience, and benefits including annual leave and meals on duty.
We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a growing, independent and values‑led care group supporting residential and dementia homes across Devon. This is a systems‑focused, hands‑on quality role within a family‑run organisation. The focus is on embedding strong governance, improving consistency and supporting managers to use systems effectively.
As Quality Assurance Manager, you will work across the group to strengthen quality systems, audits and compliance processes, ensuring systems are embedded correctly and consistently across all services. This role suits an experienced care professional who understands the reality of care home life and is confident balancing compliance with practical, supportive leadership.
You will act as a key bridge between operations and governance, supporting CQC readiness and continuous improvement.
Strong IT confidence is essential, with experience auditing and training across systems for care planning, rotas, HR and compliance, training and medication.
