Overview

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Quality Assurance Operative to join their Packing Centre based in Chippenham. As a Quality Assurance Operative, you will play a vital role in supporting the quality improvement and "right-first-time" agenda, ensuring products are legally manufactured and compliant with customer specifications. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will foster a culture of quality and safety awareness throughout the production process to uphold product excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain elements of the quality system to meet the requirements of company practices, codes of practice, and customer protocols.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all component specifications, product specifications, and the QA and HACCP Manual.
• Conduct checks of products as outlined in the QA manual.
• Review, check, and sign off records.
• Assist with investigating complaints and quality failures, recommending corrective actions and preventative measures.
• Perform in-depth checks of packing materials and finished products when requested by the QA team and produce detailed reports.
• Audit sections of the Quality Management System to ensure compliance, reporting any non-conformances.

Qualifications / Experience

• Food Safety Level 2 qualification (desirable).

Pay rate / Hours

• Salary: £27,388 to £28,962
• Working Hours: Either Monday-Friday 1800-0200 or 4 on 4 off, 0600 to 1800.
