Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across Wolverhampton? Do you have a passion for supporting learners across all age groups, including those with Special Educational Needs. If so, Prospero want to hear from you!

About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Supply Teaching Assistants to work in a range of schools across Birmingham, including Primary, Secondary, and SEN settings. Positions are available across all Key Stages (EYFS KS5), with opportunities for both short-term cover and longer-term placements.

You will be working alongside class teachers and SEN staff to provide in-class support, lead small group interventions, and assist with the overall development and progress of pupils.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Assisting pupils with additional needs, including those with EHCPs
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Working flexibly across different schools and key stages
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
  • Strong understanding of the UK curriculum
  • Experience supporting children with SEN (preferred)
  • Flexible, reliable, and confident working in new settings
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
