A very exciting opportunity that has just become available within a big and busy multiple practice with several test rooms and a large close knit team of 40+ strong.

The role is for an experienced Qualified Dispensing Optician on a permanent full‑time contract.

Salary ranging from 30,000 to 32,000

• Team bonus scheme (approx. 150‑300 per month)
• Benefits include private medical & dental and fees paid
• Hours – 40 hours (8:30am‑5:30pm, 9‑4 on Sundays) including one weekend day
• Progression opportunities

Because big store with a large team and a continuous success we want to add somebody to the team who can help support the team and grow with the practice.

This practice has a modern look with all new equipment including OCT and Ipads. Considering the busy multiple practice, it has pertama feel offering the clinical side and being very customer focused.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

• The role will entail all shopfloor duties including dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre‑screen tests and contact lens teaches.
• You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on the best options.
• Reception duties and general admin will also be part of the role and help the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

• At least 2 years of experience as a Qualified Dispensing Optician, ideally within a busy practice.
• A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
• A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

For your efforts a competitive salary ranging from 30,000 to 32,000 is on offer along with a strong bonus scheme (Approx. 100‑150 per month) as well as additional benefits.
