Quality Management Systems Administrator

12 month Contract initially with a view to extend or go permanent

About the Role:

The QMS Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the business's Quality Management Systems. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments to ensure compliance with both regulatory and customer requirements while driving quality-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and administer Quality Management System documentation and records.
  • Support both internal and external audits, ensuring documentation is always accurate and audit-ready.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving non-conformances and customer complaints.
  • Prepare and distribute quality performance reports and KPIs.
  • Support the delivery of process improvements and quality initiatives.
  • Communicate changes and updates to procedures effectively across teams.
  • Ensure proficient use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for document control, reporting, and general administration.
About You:
  • Previous experience in a Quality Compliance or Quality Systems role, ideally within a manufacturing environment (chemical, pharmaceutical, or general manufacturing backgrounds considered).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
