Qualifications

• IOSH/NEBOSH certification or currently studying towards it.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 QMS.
• Hands-on experience with ISO9001.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of an IATF 16949 quality management system.
• Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 QMS.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Investigate and resolve accidents and near-misses.
• Create and maintain COSHH assessments.
• Lead HSE audit programs and compliance checks.
• Manage the company's HSE system and documentation.

Skills

IOSH/NEBOSH certification

Knowledge of IATF16949 QMS

Hands-on experience with ISO9001

Experience in automotive or engineering industry

Experience in high volume manufacturing

Ambition to grow and study further

Overview

QHSE Systems Engineer
Birmingham (Newtown)
£30,000 - £35,000 p/a DoE
Hours: 7:30am-4:15pm Monday-Friday (earlier finish on Friday)

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of an IATF 16949 quality management system, ensuring integration with existing ISO 9001 framework.
• Maintain and continually improve the current ISO 9001 QMS, ensuring compliance with customer, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Compliance with all statutory health and safety regulations.
• Investigation and resolution of accidents and near-miss incidents.
• Creation and maintenance of COSHH assessments for all substances.
• Leading HSE audit programs and external compliance checks.
• Management of the company\'s HSE system and documentation.

Qualifications / Requirements

• IOSH/NEBOSH certification or currently studying towards attainment
• Knowledge and exposure to IATF16949 QMS
• Hands-on experience with ISO9001
• Automotive or engineering industry experience
• Been part of a quality team for a high volume manufacturing or engineering operation
• Ambition to grow and study further
• Happy in the office and on the factory floor Monday-Friday
