Job description

YouSeq is a biotechnology company : We make test kits that are used in hospitals and labs around the world to help fight COVID19, cancer and other diseases.

We are looking for a meticulous individual to join our team to help QC and manufacture qPCR and NGS test kits. The successful candidate will, after training, play a key role in our quality control process. On the surface our QC and manufacturing processes are simple : They all centre around putting chemicals in tubes. But to do it efficiently and at scale takes precision, organisation and brilliant record keeping.

The ideal candidate will be a meticulous perfectionist; good at organising processes and keeping accurate records.

The Role
  • Performing routine QC testing of qPCR / NGS kits
  • Supporting day-to day lab operations including stock checks and decontamination
  • Manufacture and QC positive control materials
Essential skills / experience
  • Use of pipettes to dispense precise volumes
  • Demonstrable precision and organisation skills
Desirable skills
  • Knowledge of qPCR as a technology
  • Hands‑on experience with qPCR lab work
  • Experience of working in ISO13485 manufacturing environment
