Overview

Join our team as a QA Technician at The Compleat Food Group. Location: Lincoln Way, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 1QD. Working Hours: 3 on 3 off, 18:00–06:00 (38.5 hours per week). Pay: £15.58 per hour (Annual Salary £31,191). Reporting To: QA Manager.

Are you passionate about food quality and safety? Do you have an eye for detail and a drive for excellence? We are looking for a QA Technician to join our dedicated team and help ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Drive high-quality product and packaging standards
  • Conduct compliance checks on finished products, raw materials, and packaging
  • Perform gas, pH, weight, label, and sensory testing
  • Prepare samples for chemical and microbiological analysis
  • Assist with corrective actions following non-conformances
  • Conduct allergen, CCP, and production compliance checks
  • Perform environmental swabbing, water testing, and temperature monitoring
  • Support production teams to ensure adherence to food safety and quality procedures
  • Attend and contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly meetings
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role within food manufacturing
  • Good understanding of BRC regulations, HACCP, and food safety legislation
  • Qualifications: Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene, Level 1/2 HACCP (preferred but not essential)
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible attitude
