Overview

My client is seeking a motivated and capable individual to join their team as a Trainee QA/QC Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in welding and fabrication who is looking to transition into a quality assurance role. Key Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in ensuring welding and fabrication activities across various projects are done to the highest possible standards
  • Assist with inspection and quality checks during mechanical and welding stages
  • Work safely at height and in confined spaces
  • Participate in Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) processes
  • Travel to project sites across the UK and internationally
Essential Criteria
  • Background in welding and fabrication
  • Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
  • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
  • Basic understanding of NDE techniques
  • Familiarity with inspection processes for welding and mechanical work
  • Willingness to travel for up to 20 weeks per year
  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • Computer literate
  • Experience with drawing or CAD software is an advantage
  • Eager to learn and grow within the role
  • Understanding of welding procedures and standards
