Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract role in Chelmsford. Qualifications

  • Experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Skills in analytical problem-solving.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor cleanroom compliance with established protocols.
  • Support inspection of incoming components to maintain quality standards.
  • Manage non-conformance and improvement activities.
  • Lead investigations into internal issues and customer complaints.
  • Perform internal audits for process effectiveness.
  • Support audits for annual ISO9001 certification.
  • Participate in customer meetings and audits.
  • Quality approval of Delivery Review Boards.
  • Attend Change Control Boards and approve change requests.
  • Review and manage closures of Permits and concessions.
  • Create and maintain compliance declarations (REACH/RoHS).
