A top Civil Engineering Contractor in the UK is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for HS2 projects in Aylesbury. Responsibilities include daily inspections, managing handovers with subcontractors, and attending technical meetings. Qualifications

• Experience in undertaking QA Engineering roles.
• Experience in using the HS2 software NOVADE; ideally you will have worked on HS2 under EKFB.

• Sending invitation for inspection to main contractor and HS2.
• Managing handovers with other Subcontractors.
• Documenting and updating Company share drives.
• Attending technical meetings with main contractor weekly.

Overview

Our client, a top Civil Engineering Contractor in the UK, have the need for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team on HS2 projects which include Highways, Structures, Earthworks and Utility Diversions. Based from their offices in Aylesbury.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections and creating HPN (Hold Point Notification) for each activity, also raising FCR (Field change Request), NCR (NCR Inspection Notification) and RFI (Request for Information) if necessary.
• Sending invitation for inspection to main contractor and HS2.
• Managing handovers with other Subcontractors.
• Documenting and updating Company share drives.
• Attending technical meetings with main contractor (Designers and Quality) weekly.

Requirements

• Experience in undertaking QA Engineering roles.
• Experience in using the HS2 software NOVADE; ideally you will have worked on HS2 under EKFB.

Offer

In return, a top day rate is on offer which is Outside IR35 and comes with an immediate start and ongoing contract.
