Overview

Our client, a financial services company based in London, is looking for a well-educated Python developer to join their team. You will have at least 5 years' experience with strong independent coding skills and good leadership qualities. Experience in financial services or investment management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build programming skills in Python, .NET and JavaScript/Typescript, keeping pace with the business requirements.
• Building and maintaining client facing applications, working with stakeholders to ensure the key deliverables are developed and live on time.
• Working with Cloud and Kubernetes deployments to transition the client apps to a more scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
• Collaboration and communication with both the IT Team and IT stakeholders.
• Build out the Client Facing Apps such that they are tested, secure and reliable.
• Project management/people management role, possible future head of technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience with strong independent coding skills and leadership qualities.
• Experience in financial services or investment management background.
• Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes deployments is desirable.

Logistics
