  • Build productive working relationships with suppliers.
  • Work closely with Production, Planning and Quality to ensure seamless supply flow.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Job description

Vickerstock areworking in partnership with a growing business who are seeking to appoint a Junior Buyer to join their purchasing department. This is an excellent chance for an ambitious individual looking to kickstart their career in purchasing.

The Role:

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Junior Buyer will support day-to-day purchasing activity, ensuring that orders are maximised and accurate for timely delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring suppliers deliver on time, to the required quality and at the most competitive cost. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is proactive, commercially aware, and keen to build strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the sourcing and procurement of materials from the GB and EU.
