Qualifications

  • Must be able to process supplier invoices accurately.
  • Capable of resolving supplier queries efficiently.
  • Ability to manage supplier payments and maintain records.

Responsibilities

  • Processing all supplier invoices via Continia Document Capture and Microsoft NAV.
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.

Skills

Computer literate, proficient to an intermediate standard in all Microsoft Office packages
Excellent communication, both oral and written
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
High level of organisational skills
Ability to pay attention to detail and to work methodically and accurately
Able to cope within a high-pressured environment

Purchase Ledger Vacancy - Middleton, North Manchester - Up to £31,000 plus profit share and private medical

This is a full time Mon - Fri, office based role

JW Lees have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger to join the Finance Team based from our Greengate Brewery in Middleton, Manchester.

Purchase Ledger responsibilities
  • Processing all supplier invoices via Continia Document Capture and Microsoft NAV
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Resolving supplier queries
  • Maintaining supplier records
  • Managing supplier due diligence and new supplier process
  • Managing supplier payments via BACS
  • Processing Team Member expense claims
  • Routine checks of aged creditor balances
  • Continuous development of Continia Document Capture to ensure automatic invoice processing is as efficient as possible
  • Supporting Team Members with the purchase order process to minimise delay in supplier payments
  • Liaising with other departments to assist in resolving any supplier‑related queries
  • Working closely with the wider Finance Team to ensure accounting records are accurate
Purchase Ledger skills
  • Computer literate, proficient to an intermediate standard in all Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent communication, both oral and written
