Overview

Are you a calm, caring, and reliable individual looking to gain experience in a school setting? Quokka Education is proud to be supporting a Top 10 Hampshire secondary school in Winchester, who are seeking a Pupil Wellbeing Practitioner to join their pastoral team. No prior experience is needed - just a friendly, empathetic approach and a desire to support young people. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for students seeking emotional or practical support
  • Provide reassurance and a listening ear in a calm, safe space
  • Support students experiencing low-level anxiety or wellbeing concerns
  • Liaise with pastoral, SEND and safeguarding teams
  • Assist with the smooth running of the school day and promote a caring culture

Contract Details

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: Grade C - £98 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
