Neway International are seeking a Public Transport Services Manager – Facilities & Environment to join our client based with Herefordshire Council.

Location: Plough Lane, Hereford, Herefordshire, HR4 0LE, United Kingdom. Hours: 37 per week. Employment Type: Permanent. Start Date: 05 January 2026. Work Pattern: 2 days in the office. Salary: £51,356 – £55,915 per annum.

The Role

As Public Transport Services Manager, you will lead the delivery of this vision. Working closely with bus operators, community transport providers, and stakeholders, you will drive forward projects that modernise and expand services. You will raise the profile of public transport across the council and county, ensuring collaboration and innovation are at the heart of service delivery.

This is a leadership role requiring strong people management skills, the ability to build and develop teams, and confidence in working with elected members and officers. You will oversee staff development, coordinate projects, and manage relationships with internal and external partners to achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
