The Role

Responsibilities
  • Teach and Assess: Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Public Services programmes, including BTEC Levels 2/3
  • Provide academic tutorship, constructive feedback, and support tailored to individual learner needs.
  • Create an inclusive classroom that encourages academic achievement.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Build links with local employers, public service organisations, and schools to enhance work placements, recruitment, and student opportunities.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, marketing, and outreach initiatives.
Education, Skills and Experience
  • Degree in related discipline a post-graduate teaching degree
  • Proven track record teaching Public Services
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed)
  • Right to Work & Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
