Blue Legal have partnered with one of the City’s most prestigious international law firms, in their quest to find an enthusiastic and driven PR Assistant, who will join their growing PR team in their London office. The PR Assistant will be key to the smooth running of the daily activities of the Global PR team, they will be involved in the organisation and management of key contacts, internal updates and briefings. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a couple of years’ experience looking to catapult their PR career in legal.

The Responsibilities:

  • Track all global press activity in the global PR team tracker.
  • Ensure activity information is accurate and kept updated including information from PR agencies.
  • Produce activity reports as needed.
  • Generate a daily email update for the global PR team sharing all media mentions from the current/previous day.
  • Produce media briefing notes ahead of media interviews.
  • Coordinate contributions and update PR documents for use by PR agencies.
  • Coordinate the administrative aspects of byline articles and reprint rights.
  • Maintain the firm’s target media lists.
  • Maintain PR team spaces on the internal network.
  • Conduct research and other projects as requested by the PR Team.

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or English.
  • Experience in a public relations or communications role is a plus.
  • Good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
