Job Title: Psychology Graduates - Start Your Career

Location: Leicester
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm | Term Time Only | £89-90 a day
Roles: Flexible Bank & Long-Term Positions Available

GSL Education is offering an excellent opportunity for Psychology graduates to gain hands-on experience in schools across Leicester, working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

What to Expect

As a Psychology graduate working in education, you will support students with a range of additional needs, including:

  • ADHD
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Communication and interaction difficulties

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils stay engaged, develop key life skills, and reach their personal and academic goals.

  • SEND Teaching Assistants
  • Long-term support roles in specialist and mainstream settings
Ideal Candidates Will Have

A Psychology degree (or related subject)
A strong interest in working with children with additional needs
Resilience, patience, and excellent communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience (formal or informal) working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential
