Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant | Full-Time | £90–£110 per day

Location: Banstead
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £90 to £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

We’re seeking a committed Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Banstead primary school. This is the perfect role for a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education while making a genuine difference to children’s lives.

What We’re Looking For

• A graduate in Psychology (or related field)
• Previous child-related experience (nurseries, youth groups, tutoring, childcare, or similar)
• A Teaching Assistant who is patient, empathetic, and keen to support children’s academic and emotional development
• Someone proactive, reliable, and ready to contribute to the school community

Key Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils who need extra help
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning interventions
• Supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Encouraging pupil confidence and resilience through positive reinforcement
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
