Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with pupils to support their learning, emotional development, and classroom engagement. You will provide 1:1 and small‑group support, help with behaviour and wellbeing strategies, and assist the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils across the school, including both classroom and SEN environments.
  • Provide 1:1 or small‑group support.
  • Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
  • Help deliver classroom activities and learning tasks.
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement support plans.
Qualifications
  • Psychology graduate, or strong interest in education, SEN, or child development.
  • Empathetic, patient, and confident working with children.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
