Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in HGV or PSV Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience working on commercial or specialist vehicles.
• A safety-first attitude and strong attention to detail.

Salary

Circa £43k per annum, 40hrs per week, range of shifts comprising early, middle and late shifts.

• Based at our Andover depot, located at Livingstone Road, Walworth Industrial Estate
• Pay rate of circa £43k per annum
• Shift pattern of 5 days in 7, on a rotating shift.

We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Bus / PSV Mechanic to join our friendly team at Stagecoach Andover. Whether you’re from a truck, HGV, automotive, plant, or rail background, this is your chance to work on a modern and varied fleet, including hybrid and electric vehicles, while helping to train the next generation of engineers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses to DVSA and Stagecoach safety standards
• Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Carrying out routine inspections, servicing, and occasional roadside repairs
• Supporting apprentices by sharing your knowledge and experience
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a collaborative depot team

What we’re looking for:

• NVQ Level 3 in HGV or PSV Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Hands‑on experience working on commercial or specialist vehicles
• A safety‑first attitude and strong attention to detail
• A team player with good communication skills
• Previous experience working on buses or large passenger vehicles (desirable)
