A local governmental organization in Maidstone seeks a Property Projects Officer to manage property-related projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Responsibilities include collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders, assisting with business cases and investment planning. The role offers generous benefits, including flexible hybrid working options and a local government pension scheme, aimed at supporting both work-life balance and professional growth.
We are looking for a Property Projects Officer to join our team and play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of property‑related projects. This is an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of work, including capital investment schemes, refurbishment and improvement projects, planned maintenance programmes, acquisitions, disposals, and compliance upgrades.
Working closely with the Property Projects Manager, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, supporting everything from project briefs and procurement to monitoring progress and resolving issues.
This role contributes directly to our wider goals around sustainability, service improvement, and financial efficiency. It requires a proactive, solutions‑focused, and organised individual who can balance competing priorities and support the delivery of high‑quality outcomes.
You will also assist with business cases, asset performance reviews, investment planning, and may be involved in community engagement and risk management.
This is a full‑time position on a permanent contract, working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday on‑site, with some hybrid working.
