A leading law firm in Kendal is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor (NQ–4 years’ PQE) for a hybrid role to manage a varied caseload of property disputes. The ideal candidate will advise clients, draft legal documents, and attend court while benefitting from a supportive culture and competitive salary of £36,000 – £45,000 plus bonus. Are you ready to develop your career with a market-leading, award-winning law firm? Our client’s Land & Property Dispute Resolution Team in Preston is seeking a solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) to handle a varied caseload of property disputes and support the team’s continued growth and success.
Manage your own caseload of contentious property matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, real estate litigation, property contract claims, and professional negligence claims
Advise clients on lease renewals, dilapidations, break clauses, forfeiture, trespass, possession, boundary disputes, rights of way/easements, and restrictive covenants
Draft correspondence and court papers, liaise with the Court, instruct counsel and experts
Attend court hearings, mediations, and all-party meetings
Support senior fee earners on complex matters and assist in team supervision
Develop relationships with a diverse client base: business owners, developers, retail occupiers, and individuals
Engage in business development to help grow the team’s offering
Benefit from training, mentoring, and development opportunities in a supportive team environment
Qualified solicitor (NQ–4 years’ PQE) with experience in property litigation
Ability to manage own caseload with appropriate supervision
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and planning skills
Excellent client care, communication, and IT skills
Commercially minded and proactive, with a willingness to develop processes and support business growth
Team player, able to collaborate across the firm and promote the firm’s values
Highly competitive salary £36,000 – £45,000 (DOE) plus bonus
