A children's charity is seeking a Healthy Family Support Practitioner in Basildon to support families with children aged 5-9. The role involves working collaboratively to deliver various health programs and provide parenting support to enhance child development. Candidates should have an NVQ Level 3 qualification and experience in community settings. This is a full-time position with necessary compliance to health guidelines.

We are seeking a passionate, dynamic and experienced 5+ years practitioner to join our Healthy Family Team. Our teams are fully integrated, consisting of Health Visitors, School Nurses, Support Practitioners, Family Hub Practitioners and Community Connectors.
5+ Healthy Family Support Practitioner Role

This role is based in the South Essex locality, working in and around the Basildon Area.
As per NHS guidance this role may require successful applicants to evidence immunisations or immunity for MMR and Chicken Pox, due to the clinical focus of some tasks and the requirement to work with vulnerable families, young people and children.
The role may also require successful applicants to wear PPE, including a protective mask, and to follow social distancing rules as highlighted in NHS guidelines. Successful applicants will be required to remain compliant with any future mandatory requirements introduced by the Government/NHS.

The Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Services (ECFWS) brings together a range of existing services, commissioned by Essex County Council and the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board. The service is provided by HCRG Care Group in partnership with Barnardo’s, ensuring families have easy access to local services, with staff able to reach children and families in the community; whether in one of our Family Hubs or Delivery Sites, an Early Years Setting or School, or in a family’s home. This flexible and innovative new way of working provides services without walls and ensures those families who need support the most are easily reached.
