Overview

Project Worker, Bedford Road, 57 Bedford Road, London, SW4 7RH. Salary: £14.67 per hour. 37.5 hours per week. Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting for a Project Worker at our Mental Health Service, Bedford Road, London. We specialise in delivering a wide range of personalised housing, care, and support services to help people across England live as independently as possible. Responsibilities
  • Provide support to encourage customers with mental health needs to maximise their own potential and independence
  • Support progress towards independence in managing positive mental health
  • Offer one-to-one support as required
  • Promote safety by undertaking risk assessments and reviewing customers’ needs
  • Regularly assess the needs of customers, write, and update support plans
  • Develop professional relationships with customers, using clear communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy and dignity is maintained
  • Deliver small group activities to promote recovery and well-being
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience of working with adults with mental health needs
  • Ability to relate and empathise with people with mental health issues
  • You may have lived experience of using mental health services and will have the knowledge and understanding to support people in crisis
  • Ability to work effectively in highly pressured situations
  • Experience with developing and maintaining accurate records and support plans
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages and internet communications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards is desirable
