A leading defense organization in Bristol seeks a Team Leader for their EMC and Radiation Effects projects team. This role involves managing activities across multiple programs, promoting team development and applying project management principles. The ideal candidate demonstrates adaptability, emotional intelligence, and a passion for people management. A great opportunity has arisen in our highly skilled EMC (Electro-magnetic Compatibility) and RE (Radiation Effects) projects team for a new team leader!
Salary: Up to £65,000, depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The EMC team provides specialist advice, strategy and guidance to all complex weapon programmes from the concept through design, proving and into in service. You will work across multiple programmes and across three main strands: requirements, design and proving.
You will have access to extensive military EMC test capabilities also managed separately within the EMC department, that will be used to qualify the MBDA product developments against the electromagnetic environment requirements.
Your team will be responsible for investigating and/or deploying novel digital proving techniques and methodology. In addition to supporting the project teams directly, you will be managing and coordinating the project activities your team performs.
