Qualifications

  • Educated to A level standard or an Engineering qualification would be desirable.
  • Proven technical organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate experience in project delivery or a consultancy role.
  • Ideally trained in Primavera P102 Course or equivalent.
  • Ability to produce Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues.
  • Experience of working in civil engineering.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.

Job description

We have a great opportunity for a Project Planner to work on a new Metro's and Rail Project in Sheffield. You will be responsible for:

Responsibilities
  • Providing project planning and support to the Project Controls Manager, their teams and deputise where required
  • Ensuring that all clients tender and contractual requirements are understood and complied with in relation to project planning, resource planning and progress
  • Ensuring the project plans for assigned contracts accurately reflect the technical work cope for the
  • Acting as a key link between Project Controls Managers and Planners, you will be responsible for highlighting issues, providing solutions to problems and reporting on a set of key performance
About the Company

Metro and Rail Projects (MRP) have extensive experience of working on high profile projects for most of the UK's light rail and tram operators and on the UK heavy rail network. We are recognised as a market leader for the provision of renewal and minor enhancements services to the light rail sector and as a supplier of choice to the wider rail market.

Qualifications
