  • Full‑time appointment on a fixed term basis for up to 12 months.
  • Base salary range: $95,231 – $100,643 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area

The Implementation Support Team, Project Office function supports the establishment and ongoing delivery of UWA India by providing coordinated, transparent, and responsive project management services across multiple workstreams. This function oversees project planning, governance, risk and issue management, reporting, and cross‑team coordination to ensure all implementation activities are efficiently delivered and aligned with UWA’s strategic objectives across both Australia and India.

A particular focus is placed on delivering structured, scalable, and high‑quality project processes that support the development of UWA India’s multi‑city campus operations. The Project Office works collaboratively with faculties, professional teams, senior leaders, and external partners to implement robust project frameworks, drive continuous improvement, and enable effective, evidence‑based decision‑making throughout the establishment and activation phases of UWA India.

About the opportunity
  • Provide project coordination and administrative support for UWA India implementation, ensuring milestones and governance requirements are met.
  • Maintain schedules, track actions, monitor risks, and prepare reports to support multiple workstreams and enable smooth information flow across teams in Perth and India.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assist with delivery, logistics, event coordination, and continuous improvement of project systems and processes.
About you
  • A tertiary qualification in project management, business, administration, communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects or operational initiatives within a complex organisation, ideally in higher education or a multi‑stakeholder environment.
  • Competence in using project tools, spreadsheets, and productivity software to support project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and contribute to solutions.
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, PowerPoint and related systems.
Note

A current National Police Clearance Certificate will be required by the successful applicant.
