Overview

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering complex offshoring and migration programmes within the financial services sector. In this high-impact role, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of GCD Migration projects across the UK, Ireland, and Crown Dependencies—ensuring seamless transitions, robust governance, and stakeholder alignment. If you bring deep expertise in offshoring strategy, service transition, and managing globally distributed teams, this is your opportunity to shape the future of our operations and deliver meaningful change.

What you'll do
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of GCD Migration projects across the UK, Ireland, and Crown Dependencies, managing scope, teams, resources, budget, communications, and overall project success.
  • Ensure strict adherence to governance procedures, collaborating closely with the Portfolio Governance team and utilising approved templates and methodologies.
  • Organise and motivate cross-functional project teams, driving alignment and accountability among all stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Effectively manage key stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication, engagement, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Change team, sharing insights and best practices to enhance delivery standards and team development.

Qualifications

About you

  • You have over 5 years of experience managing end-to-end complex projects, supported by a professional qualification in Project Management.
  • You excel in organisation, prioritisation, and interpersonal communication, with a proactive mindset and the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • You communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including subject matter experts, peers, managers, customers, and suppliers, and can influence senior decision-makers.
  • You take initiative, self-manage, and apply creative problem-solving to a wide range of challenges, with strong written and oral presentation skills.
  • You are fluent in English and highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, with relevant experience in offshoring within the Financial Services industry.
