A reputable recruitment firm in the UK is seeking a proactive Project Manager for software implementation. This hybrid position involves overseeing various IT projects, project planning, and creating documentation. The ideal candidate will have proven project management experience and be familiar with methodologies like Prince2. Salary: Mid to late £50,000 per annum – commensurable with experience.
Working Type: On Site (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office, flexible hours).

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The responsibilities of the role include overseeing and coordinating projects, contributing to project planning, preparing and maintaining documentation, reviewing contracts and financials, monitoring project activities, encouraging the active progression of those activities by both customers and colleagues, and evaluating the overall project. You will be involved in a wide range of IT projects, both internal and external, including the implementation of software for new customers, system and data migrations, system upgrades, the delivery of services such as training courses, and internal system improvements.
Project Planning: Prepare detailed plans for new projects, collaborate with stakeholders, secure and allocate resources, review deliverable timelines and communicate possible issues, and conduct feasibility analyses to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
Evaluate and Monitor Progress: Establish performance indicators during the planning phase, monitor project estimates, overall plans, and deliverable deadlines, and alert colleagues when a project is at risk of not progressing on schedule.
Project Management: Complete all operational aspects of project management, coordinate with stakeholders and consultants, conduct internal meetings, produce and maintain job tickets, review finances, and streamline workflow to keep projects on schedule. Maintain an up‑to‑date project register and present status updates, including a RAG analysis of KPIs.
Create Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including schedules, resource plans, RAID logs, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, presentations, and status reports, serving as the primary source of information for internal and external teams.
Prince2 training (training will be provided if not already held).
• Proven project management experience with a strong grasp of project methodology (Prince2 and other tailored formal methods).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, diplomacy and strong stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Technical competence in software integration (APIs – RESTful/SOAP), system integration, and platform collaboration.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Salesforce, Excel, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting (advantageous but not essential).
Solid understanding of business and operational fundamentals. Experience delivering software projects for large organisations, particularly in works, asset and contract management, is desirable.
