About the role: You will be responsible for the coordination and completion of new, existing, or base product development projects, from feasibility phase, market launch, and continuing to secure the product in the market. You will be working with cross-functional project teams to ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development or maintenance of consumer-preferred products for Reckitt powerbrand(s) from ideation, launch, and securing in the market(s)
• Coordinate activities and objectives with Marketing, R&D, and cross-functional teams to advance assigned initiatives through the product development process to achieve desired cost targets and business results.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical project paths; manage risk analysis and contingency planning on all assigned projects.
• Manage cross-functional project activity across several functions including internal/external resources and lead cross-functional teams serving as the gate holder of all project timelines; track project plans and milestones.
• Ensure all parties involved in delivering the project are held accountable for completion of actions on time and to required standards and resolve any arising issues (with support as required)
• Establish, communicate, and continually manage project expectations and progress with team members and key project stakeholders via meetings, presentations, and monthly status reports.
• Ensure budgets and cross-functional resources are identified, allocated, and managed per project requirements
• Lead cross-functional alignment meetings to address specific project challenges/issues
• Apply influence to better align other functions to agreement of overall business objectives.
• Use appropriate delegation/influencing techniques as a vehicle to deliver project actions.
• Lead project updates together with GBMMs (Global Brand Marketing Managers), TPLs (Technical Project Leads), or other assigned leads, towards key stakeholder forum updates, including flags for project changes (changes to scope, risks, resourcing, schedule) and Stage Gates
• Support project pipeline development and maintenance, ensuring accurate and up-to-date updates and escalating issues as required

Experience Required

• Exceptional Project Management skills and Microsoft Project skills
• BS/BA/MS degree, ideally in a related science or engineering, Master's degree in business a plus.
• Extensive relevant experience with product development within a FMCG environment, with a proven track record of delivery.
• Experience within the Health or Medical Device industry is a plus.
• Experience of working with global project teams is a plus
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or other professional project management qualification (or on-track) is a plus.
• Planning and organisational skills with good understanding of priority setting.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to provide feedback to team members with the goal of attaining common understanding, trust, and cooperation. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills to nurture teamwork and foster an environment of achievement and motivation.
• Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility regarding changing priorities.
