Job summary

A leading UK rail principal contractor is seeking an experienced Rail Project Manager to oversee multi-discipline projects in Glasgow across Telecoms, Civils, and Electrical works. The role is site-focused and involves managing programme, costs, safety, and quality while coordinating subcontractors. Ideal candidates should have proven experience in rail project management, particularly in Telecoms, and a thorough understanding of Network Rail standards. This is a 6-month rolling contract, outside IR35.

Leading Rail Principal Contractor

A leading UK rail principal contractor is seeking an experienced Rail Project Manager to deliver multi-discipline rail projects across Telecoms, Civils and Electrical works in Scotland.

This is a delivery-led, site-focused role, responsible for managing programme, cost, safety and quality while coordinating multiple disciplines and subcontractors.

Key Experience Required
  • Proven Rail Project Management experience for a principal contractor
  • Strong background in Rail Telecoms (FTN, SISS, GSM-R, fibre, copper, CCTV)
  • Experience delivering Multi discipline projects including electrical and civils works within a rail environment
  • Solid knowledge of Network Rail standards, safety and CDM requirements
  • Confident managing programme, cost, risk and client interfaces
