We are looking for a passionate Hospitality Manager to specialise in premium suite operations at The O2 Arena, one of the world's most iconic entertainment venues – in 2025 alone we're hosting concerts including Lady Gaga, Stereophonics, Lorde, and Bastille!

Project Manager – the role

As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and delivering initiatives that support the organization's strategic objectives. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and working closely with the General Manager, you will oversee full project lifecycles and drive efforts to enhance organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation. Your responsibilities will include comprehensive project planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful outcomes and long‑term, sustainable transformation.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams, assign tasks, and facilitate effective communication to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to mitigate disruptions.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, department heads, project sponsors, and team members.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and key decisions effectively to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
  • Address stakeholder concerns, resolve conflicts, and solicit feedback to enhance project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
Resource Management
  • Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support project objectives and deliverables.
  • Identify resource gaps or constraints and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address them proactively.
  • Optimize resource utilization and productivity through effective planning, prioritization, and coordination.
Performance Measurement and Reporting
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project success and transformational impact.
  • Establish regular reporting mechanisms to track progress, analyse trends, and evaluate project outcomes against predefined targets.
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management based on performance insights and lessons learned.
People
  • Work closely with the management team to develop and sustain a high level of team energy and engagement, focused on great food and hospitality.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and talent management/succession planning activity.
  • Ensure effective team communication flows throughout the venue.
  • Ensure that any required training and development is delivered in line with any transformation projects if required.
KPIs
Project Delivery Metrics
  • Timely completion of projects.
  • Achievement of project milestones within specified timelines.
Cost Management
  • Effective cost control and budget management during the transformation process.
  • Reduction in overall operational costs.
Stakeholder Satisfaction
  • Stakeholder feedback and satisfaction scores.
  • Positive feedback from key stakeholders (internal and external).
Performance Metrics
  • Improvement in key performance indicators directly impacted by the transformation.
  • Enhancements in productivity and efficiency metrics.
Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Calculation of the financial benefits derived from the projects.
Training and Development
  • Facilitate training programs to ensure employees are equipped to adapt to new processes and tools.
Technology Adoption
  • Successful integration and adoption of new technologies.
  • Improvement in technology‑related KPIs, such as system uptime, response time, etc.
IPOE Review Score
  • Review conducted by Business Excellence Team Supported by completion of quarterly self‑assessment.

  • Financially astute and understands complex finance models and accounting processes.
  • Displays the ability to be planned and methodical in their approach, with an objective and considered point of view.
  • Strategically focused, someone who engages and contributes to discussions in relation to operational strategy.
  • Project management, experienced in delivering projects and/or complex initiatives in line with time and budget parameters.
  • Supporting delivery of strategy. Can translate strategy into tangible plans to deliver the vision of change.
  • Analytical approach, data driven in their approach to establishing business solutions, understands and champions the use of data in informing strategic approach.
  • Commercially focused and understands how operating models are built and what levers can be employed to improve performance utilising a data driven approach.
  • Flexible and agile, appreciating need for speed of action and reaction without diluting the quality of results.
  • Problem solver, someone who is able to identify a problem and react positively to this, ensuring the deliverance of the strategic objectives is achieved.
