Job description
Project Manager
IT & Network infrastructure projects

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of IT infrastructure projects across multiple regions, with a strong focus on structured cabling, wireless surveys, and network deployment. This role oversees the end-to-end delivery lifecycle - from scope definition and partner management through to quality assurance and customer handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programme leadership – Define priorities, manage risks and interdependencies, and ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
  • Technical project oversight – Oversee the delivery of projects, including but not limited to cabling and wireless survey, ensuring adherence to design standards, site readiness, and customer technical requirements.
  • Partner & vendor coordination – Manage relationships with installation partners, survey engineers, and field resources; validate deliverables such as survey reports, as-built documentation, and test results.
  • Team management – Lead, coach, and develop Project Co-ordinators; align Service Desk and partner resources with programme objectives, fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Commercial ownership – Oversee billing accuracy, revenue recognition, and margin performance; apply robust scope management and change control processes.
  • Delivery excellence – Ensure onboarding and project readiness; manage smooth handover to Project Co-ordinators and/or Service Desk with clear runbooks and documentation.
  • Governance – Chair internal and external calls; track KPIs, maintain delivery playbooks, and provide clear reporting to leadership and customers.
  • Quality & risk – Lead RCAs and drive preventative actions; monitor partner/engineer performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs, OLAs, and standards.
  • Customer outcomes – Act as senior escalation point, build strong client relationships, and drive measurable improvements in customer satisfaction (CSAT/NPS).
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing Project Managers/Coordinators and leading cross-functional delivery teams across regions, ideally within IT infrastructure, cabling, or wireless deployment programmes
  • Understanding of structured cabling standards (e.g. Cat6/6A, fibre, containment, patching) and wireless survey methodologies (e.g. Ekahau, predictive and on-site surveys).
  • Demonstrable experience overseeing third-party installation partners and ensuring quality of site deliverables such as heatmaps, as-built drawings, and certification test results.
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on expertise in SOW validation, change control, billing assurance, and financial forecasting.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels across enterprise clients and partner ecosystems.
  • Proficiency with delivery and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent, ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Excel/Power BI).
  • Relevant certifications: PRINCE2 Practitioner / PMP (required), MSP, ITIL (desirable but not required).
