Job description

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a leading global supplier of high voltage power transformers who have project experience in over 70 countries.

Due to securing significant substation contracts with National Grid, they are looking for a Project Manager to focus on Project Delivery within their expanding UK team. The role includes managing the tendering, transport, installation, construction, and maintenance of power transformers.

Responsibilities:

• Scoping, scheduling, and controlling the project throughout its entire life cycle after handover from the sales team.
• Leading communication with relevant stakeholders, including subcontractors, the HQ sales and commercial team, the factory team, and customers.
• Identifying project issues and risks.
• Building and maintaining good relationships with customers and gathering their feedback.
• Managing project documents such as design, quality reports, progress reports, and contractual deliverables.
• Supporting tendering activities.

Your Profile:

• Electrical Engineering degree or a relevant qualification.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably with National Grid or principal contractors, specializing in power transformers.
