Project Values: £250k - £2m | Commercial & Education Refurbishments, Fit‑Outs & New Builds

An established SME main contractor is seeking a proactive Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from inception to completion. Working across commercial and educational refurbishments, fit‑outs and small new builds, the Project Manager will take full ownership of programme delivery while providing strong leadership on each scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Takes full ownership of project programmes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to specification.
  • Oversees and supports Site Managers, maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
  • Acts as the primary client‑facing representative, building and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Prepares and manages variations, valuations and associated documentation.
  • Ensures full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Coordinates subcontractors, suppliers and design information efficiently.
  • Leads progress meetings and provides accurate reporting on programme, cost, risk and resources.
  • Works independently, using initiative to resolve issues and drive project progress.
  • Supports tender processes, method statements and planning activities when required.
