A prominent recruitment agency is seeking a Project Manager for Civils scope activities. This contract role involves managing contract delivery, overseeing execution of PI services and ensuring compliance with technical deliverables within schedule and budget. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience on major infrastructure projects, ideally within the Nuclear industry, along with strong contract management skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships. Hybrid working is available with a pay rate up to £500 per day.

The Project Manager (Civils scope) will manage contract delivery, focused on the contract's Civils scope activities, ensuring that the contractor's technical deliverables and supporting services are delivered in accordance with requirements, schedule, and budget. The role holder will maintain a strong link with the Civils Delivery Programme.
Contract & Risk Management: Oversee execution and performance of PI services, including Early Warnings, risks, Compensation Events, and Variations. Provide scope challenge, cost insight, and value assessment for changes, acting as gatekeeper for task orders and change requests. Escalate issues to senior management as required. Scope Ownership & Delivery Assurance: Own and manage the end-to-end PI scope as the primary point of contact. Assure contractor deliverables meet requirements across replication, configuration, 3D models, data/tools, and engineering integration. Ensure timely provision of client inputs, oversight, and review/acceptance of deliverables. Maintain consistency of PI scope across engineering integration, delivery programmes, and related contracts. Stakeholder Management: Build strong working relationships with engineering integration teams, contractor discipline leads, and programme engineering managers. Act as the trusted counterpart to contractor contract management and liaise across technical and nuclear services teams. Represent the team in relevant meetings and forums. Reporting & Governance: Report on financial, technical, and schedule performance. Capture and report budget and scope impacts. Contribute to monthly PI reporting and reinforce contractual expectations where required.
