At Raytheon UK, we take immense pride in being a leader in defence and aerospace technology. As an employer, we are dedicated to fuelling innovation, nurturing talent, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Joining our team means being part of an organisation that shapes the future of national security whilst investing in your growth and personal development. We provide a collaborative environment, abundant opportunities for professional development, and a profound sense of purpose in what we do. Together, we are not just advancing technology; we're building a community committed to safeguarding a safer and more connected world.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager or aspiring Programme Manager to join our team. We are looking for an energetic and confident person to take the lead on several new programmes, as well as support the continued growth of the business.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to global security and safety, while also learning and developing your own skills and knowledge. The Air Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) Team delivers a varied range of programmes, from production, development, integration, and support. These programmes can be for customers directly, or through other key defence companies and Raytheon entities.
Our business offers a challenging environment: a complex engineering and legislative environment with frequent changes. We are keen to hear from someone who can create momentum within a programme, work effectively with other team members to deliver results and adapt to change. A key benefit to this role, given the rapid growth in the ATMS business area, is the opportunity to travel to visit customers and suppliers both nationally and internationally.
As part of the ATMS team, you will execute and support technically challenging programmes. You will establish and grow effective relationships with new and existing customers. The role requires innovative thinking, forward planning, and a rapid response to change. You will also identify and secure new opportunities, collaborate across the company, and foster an inclusive environment for your team. Daily activities include ensuring on‑time programme delivery, maintaining customer satisfaction, and producing high‑quality deliverables. This role offers substantial exposure and opportunities to advance within the company.
