Job description

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our United Utilities Contract. Hours: 45 hours per week; some flexibility on hours available if desired – just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the United Utilities AMP8 team to support the delivery of multi-disciplinary design and build projects. You will play a key role in ensuring project activities run safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations.

Your day to day will include:

  • Managing project activities to ensure safe delivery on time and within budget.
  • Contributing constructability and value‑engineering insight during early project stages.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders and supply chain partners to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and supporting the preparation of performance and commercial reports.
  • Promoting a culture focused on safety, quality, and wellbeing across the project team.
Qualifications

This role of Project Manager is great for you if:

  • You hold a minimum HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction/Project Management.
  • You hold relevant safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid).
  • You take a collaborative, trusted, and focused approach to managing projects and supporting your team.
  • You hold a Full Driving Licence.
