A leading materials innovation company in Rotherham is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex, technically challenging projects from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or engineering and demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills. This role offers a competitive salary of £50k - £60k and the opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly growing business.

With a disruptive manufacturing technology that up ends traditional metals production, they are scaling rapidly and need strong leadership in project delivery to support this growth.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of complex, technically challenging projects - from initiation and planning through to delivery and close-out - within a dynamic industrial/manufacturing environment. Key features:
Lead multiple concurrent projects (R&D, pilot scale, and production ramp-up) with cross-functional teams.
Set and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality expectations.
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external partners/stakeholders.
Drive governance, reporting and senior-stakeholder communication at board/executive level.
Ensure continuous improvement in project delivery processes, tools and methodologies.
Manage change and dependencies to support delivery of ambitious growth targets and new product introduction.
Proven Project Manager (ideally in a manufacturing / engineering / technology environment) with experience delivering complex, high-value projects.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and change in a high-growth environment; comfortable operating in a "building the plane as we fly it" context.
Strong stakeholder management skills - from shop-floor to senior exec levels.
Excellent planning, risk management and financial acumen.
Strong communication and leadership skills - ability to motivate a diverse team, drive accountability and deliver results.
Preferably experience in advanced manufacturing, materials, process development or similar - but we're open to strong generalist project managers with the right mindset and transferable skills.
