A leading health service provider in Scotland is seeking individuals to support primary care sustainability in Perth & Kinross. The role requires effective project management, partnership with GP practices to enhance system efficiency, and a thorough understanding of quality improvement methodologies. Candidates should possess business management experience and knowledge of general practice is preferred. This is a fixed-term position at 22.2 hours per week, offering a meaningful opportunity in improving community health services.

FIXED TERM 12 MONTHS
An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably knowledgeable and experienced individual(s) to support Primary Care and GP sustainability in Perth & Kinross. The post(s) will provide project management and facilitate delivery of change programmes, transformation and service improvement across Perth & Kinross.
The successful post holder(s) would support GP Practices to improve efficiency of their systems and share areas of good practice. Post holders will require knowledge and experience of business management/quality improvement methodology and have the ability to work with strategic programme stakeholders to successfully support change programmes. Knowledge of general practice / primary care would be advantageous.
Postholder(s) would be expected to provide tools and techniques and shared learning to support GP practices sustainability and to share good practice through national improvement programmes and the local work identified through Primary Care Improvement Plans/Perth and Kinross Improvement and Sustainability Groups. Work to support the practices Premises and Lease Assignation process would also be part of this project role.
The ability to travel across the locality is a requirement of the post.
