Project Manager - Civil Engineering (Energy Projects) | Norwich (with travel across the UK) | Permanent | Full-Time | Competitive + Benefits Package

Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing contractors as a Civil Engineering Project Manager, overseeing projects in the Norwich area and beyond. You will be responsible for the management and successful delivery of energy and civils projects across the UK, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple energy sector projects including onshore wind, battery storage, substations, and associated civils.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Monitor project performance, prepare progress reports, and deliver client updates.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and value engineering.
  • Mentor and support site teams to achieve project objectives.
About You
  • Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects.
  • Prior experience working on energy-related projects (e.g., onshore wind, battery storage, substations).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
Desirable
  • Broad knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and Temporary Works Coordinator qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts.
